Dalton Jahntz was raised in Bartlett, IL where he lived until he graduated from South Elgin High School. Dalton then attended The University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, WI. where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Sales, Marketing, and Real Estate. After graduating, Dalton worked in the Elevator Industry in Minneapolis as an Account Manager with over 400 accounts with over 650 elevators.
Dalton met the Ludwig Family while being hockey teammates with Stason for several years. Dalton & Stason still tell stories from their glory days and have brought their on-ice chemistry into the office.  In his free time, Dalton enjoys boating with family, playing hockey, snow skiing, golfing, fishing, biking, and being outdoors.

Dalton was approached in the Fall of 2020 by Rooster Ag’ when we saw what a great fit he would be to Manage and Develop the Gold Standard Appraisal Division. He has utilized his previous experience and education to provide the best customer service to make sure our Appraisal Division is the Gold Standard.

Dalton is now the Managing Broker at Rooster Ag’. He has been a Real Estate Broker for nearly 4 years and licensed in Illinois & Wisconsin. Dalton has gained a considerably amount of experience and knowledge regarding farmland sales & acquisitions, 1031 trades, and more. He has assisted numerous clients in successfully finding & purchasing farmland, as well as selling their property.

Dalton also directs Rooster Ag’s Section 180 Valuations for clients to help them discover all of their potential farmland tax deductions, including excess soil fertility.
