Kristi Dummer graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, specializing in Agricultural Business, and with a minor in Equine studies. A former collegiate varsity swimmer, she was active in Truman’s Collegiate Farm Bureau and Sigma Alpha (professional agricultural sorority) chapters.
Growing up in the suburbs, Kristi enjoyed hearing her grandfather tell stories about his life growing up on a farm and enjoyed taking horse riding lessons. In high school, she followed up on her farming interest by taking agriculture classes and being an active member of her high school’s FFA chapter. Pursuing a degree in agricultural science was a no-brainer for Kristi, and Truman State University offered her the unique opportunity to both swim and study agriculture.
Kristi is a lifelong Agriculture “AGvocating” enthusiast who enjoys working with her horse, Avalon, reading a good book, and enjoying the outdoors with her two dogs, Lacey and Leo.
She has been fortunate enough to combine her passion with her career, working in numerous agriculture communication and marketing positions before coming to Rooster Ag’. Kristi brings energy, enthusiasm, positivity, and creativity to the table in marketing Rooster Ag’ and its entities and promoting the Rooster Ag’ brand.
